PixlTag started as inspiration from a small maker project — a tiny LED pendant running a fluid simulation. The original concept showed how hundreds of LEDs could be driven from a compact PCB, creating mesmerizing visual effects.
We loved the idea, but wanted to push it much further.
PixlTag evolves that concept into a fully featured device. We redesigned the electronics around a powerful ESP32S3 microcontroller and added a programmable NFC tag, onboard sensors, magnets, and a rechargeable battery — all inside a compact keytag-sized device.
